Rositsa Milkova is a project manager of the “We Care” project under the First Foundations Program. She supports the capacity building of organizations, working with Roma communities in the field of early childhood development. She is responsible for advocacy-related initiatives for improved access to quality health care for the Roma communities in Bulgaria, focusing on mothers and children.
Prior to joining the Trust, Rositsa worked on projects for social inclusion with the Open Society Institute – Sofia. She is experienced in writing policy briefs and reports in the field of housing and policies for child and family well-being. She has also worked as a social worker with children and families at risk.
Rositsa holds a master’s degree in Public Management and Policy from Sofia University “St. Kl. Ohridski” and has a bachelor’s degree in “Social activities” from the “Episkop Konstantin Preslavski” University of Shumen. Rositsa has taken part in several trainings related to human rights, housing, working with vulnerable communities, and national and international internship programs.
