Aylin Dzhafer coordinates the building of lasting partnerships with donors and volunteers who support TSA’s work and mission. She has been part of the TSA team since 2019, when she took over the management of projects supported by the Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria within the Educational Achievement Program. She then focused on the scholarship and mentoring programmes for Roma students pursuing medical degrees and coordinated TSA's participation in the consortium managing the Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria in the period between 2017 and 2024.
Prior to joining the TCA team, Aylin worked in business consulting and managed intellectual property valuation and sales projects, as well as strategic consulting for business clients on innovation and entrepreneurship with an intellectual property focus. Aylin has experience in legal and human rights organizations and has been part of an OSCE international election observation mission. She took her first steps in civil society as a volunteer during her university years. Aylin is a member of the British Council's Global Changemakers Network, and part of the inaugural cohort of LEAP (Leadership Education in America Program) at Babson College.
Aylin holds an LLB in Law and International Relations from Portsmouth University and an LLM in International Economic Law from Edinburgh University.
