TSA’s Nurse-Family Partnership program matches well-trained nurses and midwives with first-time young mothers. As the best-tested program in the world for early childhood development, it has profound and proven impacts on mother and child. While advocating for state recognition of the program to ensure its impact is wide and lasting, we continue supporting the poorest members of the communities we serve.
Currently, there are gaps in the care packages we provide to each family once their baby is born. These are designed to ensure the basic level of care for families which have no means to supply these otherwise. We would love to team up with you in order to fill these gaps. You can help by sending or dropping off any of the items on the list below or by donating funds that can cover the purchase of these.
The families currently need:
- Diapers (size 2; 3-6 kg)
- Formula milk for newborns
- Baby porridge
- Thermometers
- Vitamins for mother and baby
- Toys for babies up to the age of 2
- Prams and feeding chairs (used clean ones are ok)
How to help?
You can drop off some of the listed items in our offices. Give us a shout at donations@tsa-bulgaria.org so we can share details about the most pressing needs by age group and health condition.
