The Trust for Social Achievement Foundation is organizing a free entrepreneurship training within the project "First Steps for Professional Development", funded by the European Economic Area under the Youth Employment Programme.
What is the training?
We offer a comprehensive programme to give you the necessary foundation to take the first steps towards starting a business. Practical training, case studies and real examples, functional forms - practice and efficiency, quality advice and mentoring support. If you want to open a shop or cafe, start your own online project or any other idea - the training will give you the knowledge and tools you need to make it happen.
All participants will receive a certificate after the training, and those who have prepared the best business plans will receive free mentoring support and additional services to help with their implementation!
The program
The training is organized in sessions which you will participate in in person and online, depending on the session:
1. Introduction to Entrepreneurship
2. Entrepreneurial skills
3. Motivation and assessment of entrepreneurial potential
4. Business idea
5. Legal aspects and human resources
6. Marketing and digital marketing
7. Financial planning and accounting
8. Financing and investments
9. Business plan and start-up
10. E-business
11. Intellectual Property
12. Green entrepreneurship
13. Final test and certification
The training will end with a final in-person event - Pitching Days - Competition of Entrepreneurial Ideas, where all prepared business plans will compete and be evaluated and ranked according to pre-developed criteria, and the best ones will receive prizes!
The training is expected to last 4 weeks (one month), including both in-person and online sessions, and will take place in March 2023. Specific dates will be determined further once the group is formed.

Who is it aimed at?
With the project "First Steps for Professional Development" we aim to address disadvantaged young people, with the target group of the project consisting of young people aged between 18 and 29, with completed secondary education, from the Varna region, living in difficult conditions, but with the desire and ideas to develop their own business.
Conditions for participation
To be in the target group of the project and to be able to participate in the training, you must:
o Be between 18 and 29 years old;
o Have access to a computer/tablet/smartphone and internet to join the online sessions;
o Be based in a location in the region;
o Have completed your secondary education (incl. you may be a current student without a university degree);
o Be a disadvantaged youth.
Within the project, "disadvantaged groups" are perceived as youth who are at higher risk of poverty, social exclusion, discrimination and violence than the rest of the population, including but not limited to ethnic minorities, migrants, people with disabilities, abandoned persons, etc.
How to get involved?

Complete the registration form at the link below and give us a short answer to the two questions “Why am I interested in entrepreneurship?” and “What business idea would I implement?”
We will select participants from those who apply and form a group.
As soon as we get a group together, we will contact you to let you know when we are starting (soon!).

How much does it cost?
The training is completely free.
For all participants residing outside the venue of the attendance sessions (Varna), travel expenses by public transport are covered as follows:
o when travelling by bus or train to Varna. For travel by bus or train to and from Varna, travel expenses shall be paid in the amount of twice the price of a one-way ticket to the relevant location. The funds shall be paid to the trainees upon provision of a one-way ticket on the route;
o the same applies to public transport within the city. For transport to the training hall.
For participants residing outside of the city of Varna, the transport will be provided to the venue. The organisers will cover accommodation costs up to BGN 30.
