The complex situation in the country which has arisen as a result of the measures against the spread of COVID-19 has seriously affected all of our lives but it has undeniably hit the most vulnerable families more than the rest of us. The families in the Nurse-Family Partnership Program, a project for specialised social aid carried out by TSA, are part of this group.
In the circumstances of a state of emergency, we from TSA decided to support all families involved in the project with a package of food products tailored to everyone’s individual needs as well as with special attention to the stage of motherhood (pregnancy, with an infant, or with a small child). With funds raised from the GlobalGiving platform and with money from the emergency fund of the project, we bought foods that were of the most urgent necessity, as well as baby food and adapted milk.
We want to thank ebag and Avendi for their professionalism and fast deliveries. We also thank everyone who has donated so far and has supported our cause through the online platform for charitable initiatives! We continue forward with our fund-raising campaign aiming to support and promote the healthy diets of young mothers and their children who live in poverty. Everyone can get involved by making a donation either through Global Giving or by contacting the team of the Nurse-Family Partnership Program directly. You can also message us on the project’s Facebook page here or on TSA’s page here.
