Trust

The project supports the NFP operation in Sofia where family nurses and health mediators will work with 234 parent beneficiaries and 117 infants. The families receive home visiting services based on the core elements of the NFP model and the specific home visiting guidelines of the program. Through this project Sheynovo Hospital continues to employ the NFP team in Sofia and to provide administrative support for implementation of the main activities - up to 64 home visits from early pregnancy until the child gets 2 years old and specific intervention support, if needed, such as medicines, health insurance, contraception, etc. The NFP team in Sofia consists of 5 nurses, 2 health mediators, 1 supervisor and administrative staff.
