Nurse-Family Partnership - Plovdiv

The project provides trainings, consultations and supervisions to the NFP team of family nurses and health mediators in Plovdiv for the purposes of quality assurance and quality improvement of the NFP program delivery. The key project staff consists of 1 local coordinator, psychologist, 1 social worker and 1 health mediator. The activities include 5 trainings on topics relevant to the skills and knowledge necessary for the home visitors to implement the NFP, such as early childhood development, case management, child protection, etc. The team receives monthly consultations by a psychologist and a social worker. Local site developer coordinates activities and communication with stakeholders such as local advisory boards, meetings with doctors, etc.
