This is a 3-year project that supports the NFP operation in Plovdiv where family nurses and health mediators will work with 188 parent beneficiaries and 94 infants. The families receive home visiting services based on the core elements of the NFP model and the specific home visiting guidelines of the program. Through this project St. George University Hospital continues to employ the NFP team in Plovdiv and to provide administrative support for implementation of the main activities - up to 64 home visits from early pregnancy until the child gets 2 years old for every mother receiving the service. The NFP team in Plovdiv consists of 4 nurses, 2 health mediators, 1 supervisor and administrative staff.
