The program aims to employing Roma students-teachers in local kindergartens, thus creating role models for the small children and providing opportunities for professional development of community youth.
The main goal is to overcome the lack of pedagogical professionals in the kindergartens and to reduce unemployment among the Roma in the municipality of Plovdiv. The program includes six Roma youths who will receive financial support to acquire pedagogical education. By the beginning of the year 2024, all Roma youths will start work in kindergartens which are partners of the program.
