In line with the objective of the Trust for Social Achievement to increase access and participation in early education, with this project Center Amalipe will continue to conduct national level advocacy to remove kindergarten fees through holding of working meetings with various stakeholders in the decision-making process in Bulgaria. The grantee will also advocate through their participation in various monitoring bodies for EU operational programs more generally for better consideration of kindergarten needs and both access and quality of early education, as well as for the inclusion of these topics in the new National Strategy for Roma Integration.
By strengthening the civic advocacy and activism towards the policies for improving access to early education, early childhood development and integration policies, the project will aim to contribute towards the establishing of political will and public support for better financing of early education, thus providing equal chances for each child to develop and thrive, despite their ethnic origin, family financial status or area of living.
