Forming Language and Socio-Emotional Skills Through Fairy-Tales

With this project TSA will support Association "Ethnotolerance" to pilot a methodology for Bulgarian language teaching in bilingual settings and the methodology of fairy-tale therapy, along with the adapted Romani fairy-tales, with the aim to stimulate the language skills and socio-emotional development of children in two schools in the city of Sliven, middle school “Hadzhi Mina Pashov” and VI primary school “Bratia Miladinovi”, and in three schools in villages in the region of Plovdiv – middle school “Vasil Levski” in v. Karadzhovo, Sadovo municipality, primary school “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, v. Cheshnegirovo, Sadovo municipality, and primary school “Graf Ignatiev”, where children from the villages of Graf Ignatievo, Tsarimir, Nedelevo, Tzeretelevo and Ljuben are enrolled. The project activities will be implemented with a total of 100 first-grade children in the selected schools in the school year 2019/2020.
