Active Learning for Successful Future Project

Active learning is a capacity that develops from a young age and is considered essential for life-long achievement. According to the World Economic Forum 2020 Future of Jobs Report, active learning will be the second most sought-after skill in the near future, just behind analytical thinking. It is considered one of the key competencies of the 21st century, in relation to competencies such as critical thinking and analysis, problem-solving, flexibility, resilience, and stress tolerance.

Active learning approaches are still not sufficiently recognized and encouraged in Bulgarian kindergartens. This project will pilot successful approaches to active learning in 4 educational institutions and will aim to influence policy changes to support active learning in kindergartens and preschool groups.
