This project addresses high rates of dropout and absenteeism of Roma students at risk of dropping out in transitional grades (5th – 7th grade) in the all-Roma school in Haskovo by providing 1) tutorials and social skills training to reduce students’ behavioral problems and improve school attendance and grade completion, and 2) Family Group Conferences to prevent dropout of at-risk students.
