Тhe project addresses the lack of quality preparation in key academic subjects and lower rates of high school enrollment and graduation among Roma students in Botevgrad and schools in three villages. The program provides tutorials in Bulgarian language and math for weaker students in 1-8th grade and 11-12th grade, literacy classes for students who do not speak Bulgarian at home, and tutorials for 7th and 12th graders for the national exams ("maturi).
