We Care Network: Preventing Family Separation project aims to reduce the number of Roma children at risk of family separation by advocating for improved access and quality of integrated material, health and social support for young Roma people, pregnant women and families living in poverty.
The specific activities planned for implementation by Future for Children Association are advocacy activities aimed at granting access to nutritional support (food vouchers) for families of children aged 0-3 who are recepients of social allowances through the preparation of a cost justification for the program and an implementation mechanism, the development of a structured proposal with data, to be discussed with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Ministry of Agriculture, National Assembly. In addition, the organisation will be responsible for initiation and participation in working groups with experts from the institutions, meetings with MPs, ministries, health professional associations, advocacy groups, etc. and organizing an advocacy event at national level. The association will also participate in regular meetings of NGOs working on the project as well as in a final conference. Parallel to these activities, there will be active outreach work to youth, pregnant women and families living in poverty deprived of address registration and support to be eligible to get identity documents and access to services.
