The aim of the current project proposal is
1. To reduce unemployment among Roma communities primarily by implementing a model that combines improving entrepreneurial skills with providing Roma families with access to durable assets and by promoting permanent employment;
2. Change people's work status - starting a job/internship, or promotion/better job;
3. Generate income for people who seek to start/expand a businesses and for those connected to these businesses and receiving income related to it;
4. Change public policies.
The team will execute the following planned activities
1. Entrepreneurship
- Recruitment and financing;
- Consultations for potential beneficiaries;
- Consultations for financed beneficiaries.
2. Employment
- Work on identifying potential employers, defining the skills and competences they need, analyzing the needs for advice and the opportunities for it;
- Awareness raising community campaign;
- Selection procedure for unemployed persons from the Roma community in Kyustendil;
- Group and individual consultations;
- Job placement for permanent employment.
