Тhis project addresses the lack of quality preparation in key academic subjects and lower rates of high school enrollment and graduation of Roma students in 6 schools in the Vidin district. The program provides tutorials in Bulgarian language and literature ("BEL") and math for students in 4th, 7th, and 12th grade to help them prepare for the national ("maturi"), literacy classes for students who do not speak Bulgarian at home, and two student activities - a school regional newspaper and career and academic counseling for high school students.
